Coffing Electric is seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to oversee electrical projects, manage crews, and ensure high-quality execution across residential and commercial jobs in Mount Vernon and surrounding Central Ohio communities.

This is a senior-level role for electricians who take ownership, hold high standards, and want to work for a company that respects leadership and experience.

Position Overview

As a Lead Electrician, you’ll be responsible for jobsite leadership, technical execution, and mentoring apprentices. You’ll work closely with project managers and customers to deliver safe, code-compliant, and professional electrical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical projects from rough-in through final inspection
  
  
• Supervise, train, and mentor apprentices and junior electricians
  
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and scopes of work
  
  
• Coordinate with homeowners, contractors, and internal teams
  
  
• Ensure all work meets NEC, local code, and company standards
  
  
• Manage materials, tools, timelines, and jobsite organization
  
  
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and professionalism on all jobsites

Required Qualifications

• Extensive electrical experience with leadership responsibility
  
  
• Strong working knowledge of NEC and local codes
  
  
• Proven ability to manage crews and jobsite execution
  
  
• Professional communication and problem-solving skills
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
